Tom Pitner
2017-07-27
From Tom Pitner's sister, Lorraine Pitner Bush.
I am sorry to inform everyone that my brother, Tom Pitner, passed away last Thursday, July 27th. He was 68 years old. Unfortunately, Tom had a very aggressive pancreatic cancer diagnosed in July. Tom is survived by his wife, Nola Pitner, and his daughter Naomi (Pitner) Beinlich and her children Jordan, Rachael, and Tom.
Nola and Naomi are hosting a celebration of Tom and his life at their house in Mundelein this Saturday August 5th at 1:00 pm. We’ll be in the back-yard for a bbq and picnic.

I am truly devastated that we have lost Tom so close to reunion. I wanted to see his cheery face after all these years. I'll never forget our occasional Sunday afternoon B&E's at his father's diner where we would build the most improbable hamburgers and chocolate malts that threatened to jam the Waring. Take care Tom.
tribute by Erich AlmasyIf memory serves me correctly, Tom was the manager of our football team. He provided the team with a great tradition at the end of every season he managed. The team was invited to his father's place, Harry's Grill, for an all-you-could-eat lunch, free of charge! Thank you, Harry, for providing such a fond and mouth-watering memory.
